INCREDIBLE!!! On June 23, 2025, we were named "Brewery of the Year 2025" at the prestigious beer competition "Finest Beer Selection" organized by Doemens and the Meininger publishing house. Doemens in Gräfelfing near Munich is an international center of excellence for brewing and beverage technology, offering top-level education and training.
With a total of 15 beers scoring over 90 out of 100 possible points, we have set a true benchmark for diversity and quality. No other brewery has ever presented such a large number of top beers. And never before have 15 awards been given to a single brewery in this competition — a real record!
Our managing directors, Roland and Oswald Kundmüller, are overwhelmed:

A special highlight for us are the awards for our Weiherer Lager Hell and our Weiherer Pils, as they are true classics and particularly competitive categories."
The quality seal of the Finest Beer Selection, founded in 2023, is unique: breweries from almost 20 countries worldwide submitted a total of 852 beers, which were tasted from May 20 to 22 by 50 beer professionals from ten countries at Doemens in Gräfelfing. Unlike traditional beer competitions, beers are not compared against each other. Instead, each beer is individually analyzed in a blind tasting and evaluated according to a transparent 100-point system as a test of sensory excellence.
"A top-class tasting panel independently assessed each beer on its own. Achieving scores above 90 points here means outstanding beer quality at Finest Beer Selection. The award ceremony took place in a festive setting on June 23 in Neustadt an der Weinstraße.
