What a piece of news! We really are lost for words. On April 24th, the 2024 World Beer Cups were awarded in Las Vegas. This is the biggest and most important beer competition of all - almost 10,000 beers, over 2,000 breweries from 50 countries are taking part. And we won. And not just once. Our Weiherer Kräusen Hell won gold, making it the best cellar beer in the world. In addition, Weiherer Rauch and Weiherer Weizenbock both won silver. That's amazing, making us the most successful European brewery and even the most successful brewery outside the USA. We are particularly pleased to have won gold for our Kräusen Hell in the "Kellerbier" category, as this puts us right at the top of a typical Franconian beer style and there was also a lot of competition in this category. We are overjoyed and would like to thank our entire brewery team from the bottom of our hearts!
