Who has ever bet on that! WE ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS! After the 16 national awards at the World Beer Award 2023, our Weiherer Pils has now been named WORLD'S BEST PILS in the worldwide final in London. "The national victory in the category 'Best German Pils' was already incredible - also due to the large number of applicants. The world champion title, however, that is a sensation!", our brewmaster and managing director Roland Kundmüller is pleased to say. Our managing director, Oswald Kundmüller, takes the same line and dedicates this unique success to the entire brewery team: "Our Pils is the best in the world! Our team has worked hard for this over the years. We are simply overjoyed." The victory of the Weiherer Pils' is also a wonderful sign of regional traditional craft, after all, all the beers here in Weiher are brewed according to the purity law and yet such international success is possible.
