What a great atmosphere on Sunday, 7 May at the World Heritage Run and at our Weiher team! It was a fantastic event with a total of about 12,000 runners and about 30,000 spectators who cheered hard. The atmosphere was great and at the end our Weiherer beer runners were all proud and very satisfied with their performance! We would like to thank you all for running for Weiherer Bier. We would like to make a special mention of Silke Leikheim, who managed the unbelievable: she ran the Wieland, the Brose and the Sparkasse run in a row! That means a total of more than 36 km and all that in a hammer time: 4.4 km in 21:49 minutes (1st in her age group), 10.7 km in 1:01:07 hours and 21.1 km in 2:14:08 hours. All runners had great fun and to round off the event, there was a small celebration in the evening in Weiher.
